You can tell where we sit on it because the foam is a bit more broken in on those spots, but this is normal for any sofa. Let’s just say that it’s still comfortable after a long Netflix marathon!!!
I wouldn’t say it necessarily repels liquid or stains but I’m grateful the texture stays the same when you’re cleaning it. I wanted a light colored couch which I know is a huge risk at this season of life that we are in. I love the color next to our white walls without feeling too stark. The couch brings warmth to the space and just feels cozy and welcoming.

However, I ended up receiving the sectional 4 weeks before the updated timeline. The sectional is great and absolutely love it. Already had two spills, but it was very easy to clean them. I only wish we could customize the depth of the seat without paying a hefty amount.

HONEST REVIEW OF OUR MAIDEN HOME SOFA
The fabric does stretch a bit over time, which is normal, especially with a bench seat style. The seam on one of the bench seats has started to slide forward a bit and is difficult to push back up, which is where the 0.5 deduction comes in. There are also 4 leg finishes, but I am knocking off 0.5 because they only offer one shape of leg. It’s a nice transitional, universal shape and I do like it, but would have been nice to have at least one other style to choose from. We are always looking to improve the customer experience and appreciate all of the feedback that you have provided thus far. I am also truly sorry that you were hurt by these staples as our first priority is the safety of our customers when using our pieces, and as we take this very seriously.

My Room & Board sofa is great - purchased 15 years ago, sight unseen. My Maiden Home Jones is fine , but gets almost no use. But trying to schedule delivery of the Maiden Home piece was so horrible that it is very unlikely that I would order from them again.
The material is still intact (dog hair doesn’t stick to the material like it did our previous couch) and shows normal signs of wear you’d expect from a family’s main couch. My husband and I are in the 5'4–5'7 range, and we have a bouncing two-year-old as well as a dog . All couches are made-to-order and, per the website, take weeks to deliver once ordered. Have had our dune for 2yrs now… somehow I have a white sofa that still looks new and has seemingly gotten even more comfortable now that it’s properly broken in. We’ve washed the slip covers probably a half dozen times over the past 2 years without issue. I do wish I would have gotten the classic back instead of the scatter back as washing very pillow cover is a pain.

Honestly, they have quickly become one of my favorite furniture brands and one of the first I will shop at whenever I have a need. Plus, their delivery time was also well handled and efficient, and the items arrived in perfect condition. From here, it will be in the hands of the delivery company, and this can take up to another 2-4 weeks. Since each piece of furniture is made to order, don’t expect things like next-day shipping here.
For pillows I went with scatter back pillows and Marissa went with straight back pillows . Both the sectionals and sofas can have either type of pillow choice. The scatter back is usually a mess – my kids or pup tossing them on the floor. They never manage to stay looking in order (ya feel me?!) and finding your seat involves shuffling the pillows to get comfy. For me, it turned out to be a little bit high-maintenance and I would not recommend the scatter back version. Marissa went with the straight back and what’s nice about that is you can purchase your own pillows to accessorize.
They also do not leave a “bum print” where someone sat. They are a perfect balance of sink-in comfort and support. Purchased for a ski residence in big sky, our client is very happy and is the one who introduced us to MaidenHome.
